Our professional services client is currently going through a sustained period of growth, and with this they now seek several qualified Senior Associates to join their team in Edinburgh. Working out of one of Edinburgh’s newest offices with transportation links right on the doorstep, this is a great opportunity for those wishing a new challenge in 2025. You must be either CA, ACA or ACCA qualified with a commercial mindset and with an organised approach to client work, although we can also consider people that are due to fully qualify in the next few months.
In this role you will become a key part of a growing team, which provides a wide range of audit, advisory and accounting services to a range of diverse clients including but not limited to OMB’s, charities, landed estates, and FCA regulated entities. The Edinburgh team provide tailor made services, including accounting, audit and assurance, tax, corporate finance, and business advisory.
As an Audit Senior Associate, you will:
- Project manage and drive the audit and accounting process, including liaising directly with senior individuals in clients’ finance teams.
- Get actively involved in every aspect of the audit process, taking ownership of planning, fieldwork, and the completion on audit engagements, working closely with managers and partners.
- Have the opportunity to get involved in the direction and overall running of the team.
- There may also be opportunities to work on ad hoc projects e.g., department or firm wide working groups and client advisory work.

Qualifications and attributes required:
- CA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong audit experience, including planning and completion.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Client-focused with a keen sense of commerciality.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and Word, and familiarity with CCH accounts and audit automation (preferred).
- Up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent developments in accounting and auditing standards.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
- Proactive nature and a strong team player.
