Meet the team.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her Cockapoo, Mister, who has been very supportive of the set up of Metier Peoples!

Living in the countryside, Amy  enjoys all rural living has to offer in the summer, and likes to spend winter evenings with a fire and a nice glass of wine. Amy also takes part in a variety of physical charitable events in order to raise money for local causes close to her heart, and has been attempting to “bag” a Munro (or at least a hill) every now and again.

A volunteer Ambassador for the Association of Corporate Treasurers, Amy also dedicates some time to planning events in Scotland in order to facilitate a connected Treasury community.

Scott Peoples

Scott advises accounting firms on hiring strategies within a demand driven market. He supports his clients in their hiring of Partners, Directors, Senior Managers, Senior Associates and Associates. He works with a core band of great firms with offices across Scotland who are progressive in their offerings to candidates and who are seeking the brightest and best talent to join their teams.

Scott places Accountants, Auditors, Tax professionals and Corporate Finance professionals into roles in the profession, and advises on career moves both within practice, and into industry.

Initially from Perth in Scotland, Scott began his recruitment career in 2012 in Perth in Australia after relocating.  There, he supported the Big 4 with hiring whilst at a FTSE 200 Recruitment Agency. Having been headhunted to join a US Fortune 500 company he has since worked within professional services providing permanent recruitment of technical and managerial candidates, placing Managing Directors, Directors, and Managers into great consulting firms as stand-alone hires and when companies have been building out teams. Since returning to Scotland in 2016, Scott has worked with many great organisations facilitating the progressive career moves for those who place their job search in his hands.

Before entering the world of recruitment Scott in his early years worked for a FTSE 250 business running and managing licensed premises on their behalf, before going on to own and run his own successful small portfolio of public houses and employing a team of 20 people. In his downtime Scott loves travel, sport and cooking, as well as spending time in the countryside with his wife and dog, Mister.
