Metier Peoples is thrilled to be supporting a global premium spirits company based in Glasgow with their search for a Treasury Manager.

This is a progressive opportunity for a Treasury professional seeking a role with room to grow, to join an established function and work within a lovely team!  You would be responsible for the development of treasury systems, the statutory and management reporting of treasury transactions and the management of all Treasury front office operational activities including execution of treasury deals.

The Job:

 

Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, key responsibilities include:

·       Manage day to day global treasury front office operations including treasury FX, cash and debt dealing.

·       Be responsible for the control, management and reporting of treasury operations and related risk management measures.

·       Develop treasury systems and the delivery of necessary training within the function and wider business.

·       Delivery of treasury reporting, forecasting and associated accounting data.

·       Support and deputise for the Corporate Treasurer as required, including in the provision of business treasury support.

·       Support the preparation of Board and Treasury Committee papers and treasury plans.

·       Motivate support direct reports in achieving their career goals.

·       Ensure alignment and delivery of work with regular team meetings to discuss performance and priorities.

The Candidate:

·       Qualifications:  Qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA), however those who are “qualified by experience” will be considered.  A Treasury qualification would be desirable.

·       Experience:  Able to demonstrate experience of working within a corporate Treasury function, experience of leading and managing teams as well as delegating appropriately.  You will have proven stakeholder management experience.

·       Skills:  Team working and collaboration skills cross functionally and across regions with the ability to work accurately with pace and focus.  You will have the ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships.
