Due to the continued growth and expansion, an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner has arisen with an exciting and fast-growing company, a role based in Edinburgh with hybrid working available.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial data to key stakeholders, taking ownership of the business area
- Support wider budgets process, supporting business growth
- Partner with leadership, acting as a strategic advisor – provide inputs to forecasting, and long-term financial plans
- Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key trends and variances, using financial models and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational performance
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Lead financial reviews with business leaders, facilitating discussions on financial performance and strategic priorities.
- Provide training and support to business unit leaders on financial concepts and tools
- Leverage technology and data analytics to streamline reporting and provide deeper insights.
The Candidate:
- Degree and accountancy qualification desirable, but PQ/qualified by experience considered
- Good systems and accounting experience preferred
- Effective communicator and comfortable working within both a local and wider team
- Self-starter, works own initiative and proactive
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to influence decisions with financial data and insights
