Metier Peoples is delighted to be partnered with a multi-national company looking for a Front Office Treasury Manager based in Glasgow.  This job presents an excellent opportunity for someone with treasury dealing experience to become an integral part of an established treasury team in a dynamic global company.

Hybrid working available, 2 days in the office required.

The Role:

Treasury Manager covering the front office activities including FX and liquidity dealing cover for the Assistant Dealer.

You will be responsible for:

–        Daily Liquidity Management – managing the group cash pools and cashflow forecasting.

–        Risk management – Developing and maintaining processes to monitor and manage risks including FX, interest rates and pricing.

–        Deal execution – work with the Assistant treasury dealer in executing deals and investing excess cash optimally.

–        Foreign Exchange management – Be a point of contact for subsidiaries regarding FX dealing, training and FX exposure review.

–        Forecasting – develop and maintain the medium-term treasury cashflow forecast and assist in building a long-term group treasury forecast.

–        Cash Management – Work with the Treasury Manager to optimise cash management, fund business operations and repatriate cash from subsidiaries.

–        TMS development – help to develop and automate the treasury management system for front office activities.

–        Reporting – assist the Treasury Manager with various treasury projects and certain weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the business.

The candidate:

–        Experience of treasury Front Office duties.

–        Worked in a multi-national company with complex structures.

–        Proficient in the use of trading platforms and a treasury management system is preferable.

–        Treasury qualification or studying towards qualification.  Accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.

–        Financial analytical skills, great attention to detail and meticulous.

–        Modelling skills not required but desirable.

–        Collaborative and pro-active team player.
