Metier Peoples is working with a growing organisation looking to appoint a Credit Control Manager / Senior Manager into the Finance Team. As a senior team member you will be responsible for:

Managing the accounts receivable and credit control team including performance management for 3 direct reports

Overseeing and producing reports including DSO, cash collections, past due reports, bad debt and credit note provisions & liquidity reporting

Oversight of customer on-boarding process

Oversight of debt collection
-
Working closely with the Director to drive continuous improvements
-
Completing and managing month end close processes
-
Development and implementation of standard operations procedures
-
Drive continuous improvement ideas
Qualifications:
-
Experience in a similar position, supervising and leading a team is essential
-
Strong credit control experience
-
Working knowledge of VAT, accounting and accounts systems, knowledge of end-to-end process improvements
-
Experience with Accounts Receivable, Billing and CRM applications
-
A highly numerate professional with strong team management skills
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Excellent problem-solving skills; proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions
