Metier Peoples is working with a growing organisation looking to appoint a Credit Control Manager / Senior Manager into the Finance Team. As a senior team member you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the accounts receivable and credit control team including performance management for 3 direct reports

  • Overseeing and producing reports including DSO, cash collections, past due reports, bad debt and credit note provisions & liquidity reporting

  • Oversight of customer on-boarding process

  • Oversight of debt collection

  • Working closely with the Director to drive continuous improvements

  • Completing and managing month end close processes

  • Development and implementation of standard operations procedures

  • Drive continuous improvement ideas

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar position, supervising and leading a team is essential

  • Strong credit control experience

  • Working knowledge of VAT, accounting and accounts systems, knowledge of end-to-end process improvements

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable, Billing and CRM applications

  • A highly numerate professional with strong team management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions
